About Our Youth Library

Our Youth Library brings together horse books chosen for younger readers, families, and students who are beginning to explore horses.

Some books are stories, while others introduce horse care, stable life, riding, anatomy, and the history of horsemanship in a simple, curious way.

Because many of these books are older, some ideas may not match today’s veterinary or training standards.

A good place to start for kids who love horses and want to learn more.

A note for parents and young readers

The Youth Library is designed to make classic horse books easier to discover, but not every old book was written the way we teach children today.

Some books may use older language, dated training ideas, or information that has changed with modern equine science.

Read them for learning, history, and discussion, and use today’s veterinary and horse care guidance for real life decisions.
