Basic Farrier Anatomy Study Sheets

The study sheets provided are the same materials utilized by Pacific Coast Horseshoeing School to help students prepare for their introductory anatomy exam. In an effort to make high-quality educational tools more accessible, Pacific Coast Horseshoeing School is making these study resources available to everyone interested in furthering their knowledge of equine anatomy.

This study sheet bundle is highly recommended for apprentice farriers and for farriers pursuing their AFA Certified Farrier (CF) level certification.

There are two convenient ways to use these sheets:

• Print and laminate them, then use an erasable marker to fill in the blanks—this allows you to reuse the same sheets repeatedly.
• If you do not have access to a laminator, you can print multiple copies of the sheets for traditional use.

These study aids are designed to support both structured classroom learning and independent study, helping farriers at every level strengthen their foundational understanding of equine anatomy.
